Wilma Brown Lynn, age 85, went home to be with the Lord, Friday, May 30, 2025 at North Crest Medical Center surrounded by people who loved her. She was born on January 19, 1940 to the late John and Emma Brown.
She was a member of Calvary Baptist Church in Greenbrier, TN where she attended until her health declined. Wilma was one of the kindest people you have ever met. She had a big heart and loved her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren unconditionally. She made friends everywhere she went. She loved reading, soap operas and working jigsaw puzzles. She will be greatly missed.
Wilma was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Charles J. Lynn; brothers, William and Jesse Brown and sisters, Zelma Hughes and Bettye Pearson. She is survived by sons, Billy (Sabrina) Beaty of Louisiana, Joey (Lisa) Beaty of Springfield, TN, Jamey Beaty of Cross Plains, TN; brothers, Johny Brown, Lanny (Vickie) Brown, Roger (Dulcie) Brown all of Jamestown, TN; sister, Mary Lou (Wallace) Byrd of Edmond, OK; 9 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.
It was her desire to be cremated. A Celebration of Life Memorial Service will be held Saturday, June 7, 2025 at Calvary Baptist Church in Greenbrier, TN at 2 PM. A private burial will be conducted later.
