William Clarence Osborne, Sr., age 81, of Springfield, passed away Sunday, September 9, 2024 at The Residence at Alive Hospice in Nashville.
Mr. Osborne was born September 3, 1943, in Carthage, TN to the late William Thomas Osborne and Daisy Clara Bennett Osborne.
He was a carpenter and a member of Life Church Nashville.
In addition to his parents, Mr. Osborne was preceded in death by his 1st wife, of 45 years, Jackie Lee Osborne; 2nd wife, Patricia Simmons Osborne; son, William Clarence Osborne, Jr.; 2 brothers; 1 sister; and a son-in-law, Bart Johnson.
He is survived by his sons, Edward “Joe” (Terri) Osborne, and Timothy “Timmy” (Margarita) Osborne; daughters, Anita “Christy” (Jim) Brewington, Linda (Jimmy) Presley, Teresa Osborne, and Carey (Chris) Brown; 20 grandchildren and numerous great and great-great-grandchildren; and a sister, Brenda Holland.
Funeral services will be conducted at 7 pm Wednesday, September 11th at Life Church Nashville, 215 Broadmoor Drive, Nashville, TN 37207, with Pastor Bob King officiating. Graveside services will be conducted at 12:30 pm Thursday, September 12th, in the Harpeth Hills Memory Gardens, 9090 Highway 100, Nashville, TN 37221.
The family will receive friends from 5-7 pm Wednesday, at the church.
