Tara Dannielle Stanley, age 46 of White House passed away Wednesday, October 25, 2023 at Centennial Medical Center from complications following heart surgery.
She was born January 22, 1977 in Nashville, TN to Dennis W. and Lisa Shepherd Stanley, Sr..
Tara was a 1995 graduate of White House High School, where she was crowned Homecoming Queen her senior year. She was Captain of the cheerleading squad. Following high school, she attended Western Kentucky University and was part of the Topperette’s Dance Team in 1996 and 1997.
She worked in the Accounting and Payroll Department of Tyson Foods. Tara loved animals. Her four dogs were so very special to her.
She is preceded in death by her paternal grandparents, Marvin Van Stanley, Sr. and Ruth Marie Price; maternal grandmother, Billie Jo Stuard.
She is survived by her parents, Dennis and Lisa Stanley, Cottontown, TN; brother, Dennis W. Stanley, Jr., Gallatin, TN; several uncles, aunts and cousins.
Funeral service is scheduled for Friday, November 3, 2023 at 1 pm in the chapel of Austin & Bell Funeral Home in White House with Pastor Crystal Brown officiating. Interment will follow in White House Memorial Gardens with Dennis Stanley, Jr., Brian Stanley, Jr., Barry Stanley, Chris Brogdon, Robby Brogdon and Michael Collins serving as pallbearers. Visitation is planned for Thursday, November 2, 2023 4 pm-8pm and Friday, November 3, 2023 10 am until the hour of the service at the funeral home.
