Stephen Holman Babb, 69, of the Barren Plains community in Springfield, passed away on Sunday, October 3, 2021, at his home.
There will be a visitation with the family on Saturday, October 9th from 2:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. at the Robertson County Funeral Home. A private family burial will be held in Springfield Memorial Gardens.
Mr. Babb was born November 5, 1951, in Springfield, to the late Miller F. and Sarah Holman Babb. He was a retired Powder Coater with Holley Carburetor, and he was a member of Barren Plains Baptist Church. Mr. Babb enjoyed hunting and fishing, as was an avid Alabama fan. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother: Miller Wayne Babb, and by his sister: Lucretia Ann Babb.
Mr. Babb is survived by his daughter: Heather Babb Wilkerson and her husband Andy Wilkerson of Cedar Hill, by his son: Heath Babb of Springfield, and by his grandchildren: Braxton Eden, Hannah Marie Eden, Hannah Leigh Marlin Thompson, and Kensley Babb.
Robertson County Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
