Rosemary Denton, age 76 of Cross Plains went home to be with the Lord Tuesday, January 25, 2022 at her home.
She was born March 17, 1945 in Franklin, TN to Oliver and Margaret Sweeney Lunn.
She worked as the manager of the Little Red Shoe House. Rosemary enjoyed playing bingo and slot machines, going to Casinos, and watching ballgames at the ballpark, especially when her grandchildren were playing.
She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Ronald E. Denton, Sr.; 2 sisters, Mildred Dobbs and Jean Mangram; five brothers, James “Bud” Lunn, Tommy Lunn, Robert “Deacon” Lunn, Franklin “Goody” Lunn, and William “Boe” Lunn.
She is survived by four sons, Marty Denton, Cross Plains, TN, Roger (Mary Evelyn) Denton, White House, TN, Ronald (Shawna) Denton, Jr., Boise, ID, and Christopher (Cathey) Denton, Norfolk, VA; daughter, Junie Rolens Hermitage, TN; sister, Alice “Rinki” Stutts, Hermitage, TN; 8 grandchildren, Lacey, Brock, Ashlee, Magan, Raven, Amber, Brittany, and Caitlyn; 14 great-grandchildren, Bentley, JJ, Kensley “KK”, Blaze, Tristan, Nevaeh, Aiyden, Ryder, Ellie-Mae, Cy, Jax, Freddy, Alex, and Laikyn; Beloved dog, Buddy.
Funeral service is scheduled for Saturday, January 29, 2022 at 1:30 PM in the chapel of Austin & Bell Funeral Home in White House with Bro. Phillip Miller officiating. Interment will follow at 3 PM in Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens in Goodlettsville with family and friends serving as pallbearers. Visitation is planned for Saturday, January 29, 2022 10 AM until the hour of the service at the funeral home.
