Michael Darin Watson, a loving and kind soul, was born on December 2, 1972, in Nashville, TN. He peacefully departed this life on September 4, 2024, in Greenbrier, TN.

Darin’s generous spirit and deep devotion to his family will be fondly remembered by all who had the privilege to know him. A devoted husband to Tracy Watson, Darin cherished their life together, sharing countless moments filled with love and laughter. His greatest joy came from becoming a Papa to his beloved granddaughters, Lucille Watson and Evelynn Watson. Darin treasured every moment spent with Lucy, particularly the memories made during their time together that would shape their lives forever.

Darin was more than just a family man; he was a true friend with a warm personality that brought light to those around him. He had a love for football and an unwavering loyalty to all things Atlanta Sports, including the Falcons and Braves. While he enjoyed these passions, Darin was also known as a homebody, finding comfort and happiness in the simple pleasures of life at home.

Beyond his wife and grandchildren, Darin leaves behind his son Michael Watson; siblings: Brian (Leah) Watson, Susan (Kevin) Adamson, and Lori Nicole (Jeff) Smith; nephews and nieces, Dalen Cicora, Alden Cicora, Joanna, Julian, and Jinger Smith, Jex and Brax Watson. They will always carry the memories of their time together, honoring the bond they shared.

Darin is also preceded in death by his parents, Wilkie Wayne and Edna Faye Watson.

Darin’s life will be celebrated during a visitation on September 9, 2024, from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM, followed by a graveside service at 2:00 PM with Pastor Scott Rush and burial at 2:30 PM. All services will be held at Springfield Memorial Gardens, Funeral Home & Cremation Center, located at 4005 Memorial Blvd, Springfield, TN 37172. https://www.springfieldfh.com
