Maurice Paschall Frey Jr., age 91, of Springfield, formerly of Goodlettsville, passed away Thursday, June 16, 2022 at his son’s home in Springfield.
Mr. Frey was born July 9, 1930 in Nashville, TN to the late Maurice Paschall and Annie Raney Frey Sr.
He was a US Army veteran and had been a carpenter most of his life.
Mr. Frey is survived by his son, Maurice “Paschall” (Renee) Frey III; 3 grandchildren, Amber Franklin, Annie Garrie, and Maurice P “PJ” Frey IV; 7 great-grandchildren, Kailey, Teagan, Kaden, Ronin, Kensley, Remii and Aerie; brother, William (Billie) Frey; and a sister, Anita Settle.
Funeral services will be conducted at 2 pm Monday, June 20, 2022 in the chapel of Austin & Bell Funeral Home, Greenbrier with Deacon Joann Morris officiating. Burial will follow in the Bellwood Cemetery in Adams with family and friends serving as pallbearers.
The family will receive friends from 10 am until the time of the service at 2 pm on Monday at the funeral home.
