Lula Mai Carrell, age 86, of Springfield, passed away Tuesday, August 10, 2021 at The Waters of Springfield.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, August 14, 2021 at 12noon in the chapel of the Austin & Bell Funeral Home in Springfield. Burial will follow in the Harpeth Hills Cemetery with family and friends serving as pallbearers.
Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Saturday from 9 am until the hour of service at 12noon.
Mrs. Carrell was born April 25, 1935 in Nashville, TN to the late Lewis Joseph and Emma Mozella Raymer Green. She was a homemaker and member of the Oaklawn Baptist Church in Jackson, TN. She loved her family, babysitting, and her dogs.
In addition to her parents, Mrs. Carrell is preceded in death by her husband, Claude M. Carrell. She is survived by her step-daughter and step-son-in-law, Teresa and Tommy Edwards of New England, ND; her niece and nephew-in-law, Margie and William Brothers of Greenbrier; and a host of dear friends and extended family.
