Loy Wayne Lemmons, 79, of Springfield, Tennessee passed away on Sunday, May 21, 2023, at his home.
Mr. Lemmons was born September 19, 1943, in Springfield.
He was as a painter and was of the Baptist faith. Mr. Lemmons enjoyed bird watching, watching TV, especially John Wayne, and tinkering with antique radios.
He was preceded in death by his father: Hubert Lemmons, by his mother: Willie Mae Whiting Thaxton, and by his siblings: Juanita Wix, Lawrence Lemmons, and Jerry Odell Walker.
Mr. Lemmons is survived by his daughter: Linda Gail Stalmer of North Spearfish, SD, by his son: Jerry Wayne Bedwell of Dyersburg, by his brothers: Robert Lee “Pete” Lemmons of Old Hickory, Gary Lemmons of Adams, and Paul Walker of Lewisburg, KY, and by his 2 grandchildren.
His remains will be cremated, and no services are planned at this time.
