Linda Joyce Spivey Seabolt, 80, of Springfield, passed from this life on Monday, November 11, 2024, at Hendersonville Medical Center.
Linda was born May 21, 1944, in Orlinda, to the late Arlo B. and Cora Gladys Neal Spivey, Sr.
She was a graduate of East Robertson High School Class of 1962, was a retired assembly technician with Drackett Company, and was a lifelong member of the Orlinda Church of Christ. Linda enjoyed sewing, quilting, playing solitaire, talking with her friends, and she especially enjoyed reading her Bible.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband: J.D. Seabolt, Sr., by her son: J.D. Seabolt, Jr., and by her siblings: Ann Carter, Helen Clayborn, Maggie Groves, Mable Redferin, Diane Wix, Roger, Ramey, George, Jackie, and Arlo Spivey, Jr.
Linda is survived by her daughter: Jessica Lynn Seabolt of Springfield, by her grandchildren: James Landon Woodruff and Halston Blake Seabolt, by her honorary grandchildren: Teresa Thomas and Payton Thomas, by her brother: Billy Joe Spivey of Franklin, KY, and by her sisters: Wanda Tate of Cross Plains and Betty Jo Hodges Portland.
Funeral services will be conducted Thursday, November 14th at 11:00 a.m. in the Oakhurst Chapel of the Robertson County Funeral Home with Brother Terry McCormick officiating. Interment will follow in the Restlawn Memorial Gardens in Franklin, KY with Landon Woodruff, Neil Crockett, Stacy Crockett, Paul Bell, Byron Hodges, Joseph Hodges, Zach Pate, and Brad Pate serving as pallbearers. The family will receive friends on Wednesday from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. and on Thursday from 9:00 a.m. until service time at the funeral home. https://www.robertsoncountyfuneralhome.com
