Kenneth Lee Hand, Sr., age 62, of Springfield, Tennessee passed away on Friday, September 23, 2022 at his home.
Kenneth was born in Springfield, Tennessee to Arthur Charles and Tiny Mae Bilyeu Hand.
He previously worked for Electrolux as a material handler and served in the United States Navy on the USS Goldsborough DDG-20.
Kenneth is preceded in death by his sister, Anita Hand Davidson.
He is survived by his son and daughter-in-law, Kenneth Lee and Shannon Hand, Jr. of Portland; mother of his child, Charlotte Hand of Hendersonville; brothers, Ricky (Lisa) Hand of Florida, Jeffrey Hand of Springfield, Terry Ray Dean of Springfield; grandchildren, Jacob Olive and Breonna Creek; 5 great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews, Michaela (Jordan) Chandler, Meagan (Michael) Rogers, and Sean Crutcher.
Funeral services will be conducted at 2:30 pm on Wednesday, September 28, 2022 in the chapel of Austin & Bell Funeral Home with Bro. Buddy Hagerman officiating. Burial will follow in the Springfield Memorial Gardens. Visitation with the family will be on Tuesday from 4:00 pm – 8:00 pm and again on Wednesday from 1:00 pm until time of service at 2:30 pm.
