Mr. Justin Bruce Hensley of Springfield, Tennessee passed away on Tuesday, March 1, 2022, he was 39 years old.

He was born on January 13, 1983 to Jeffrey Dale Hensley and Denise Lynn Jones in Nashville.

Justin is a graduate of Greenbrier High School, class of 2001.

At an early age Justin found a gift for understanding and building computers. He followed a career in computer software and became certified in many different areas. Justin’s latest accomplishment was being a part of iCloud development as an iCloud infrastructure engineer. His job took him to many cities like San Diego, Chicago, and even to Canada.

When he wasn’t working Justin enjoyed Snowboarding, watching the Tennessee Vols, finding shows for him and his mom to watch and playing with Hoss. Just a few summers ago Justin spent a lot of time with his sister April and her girls, he taught Marley how to Beat Box and he was so proud of how well she did. He lovingly nicknamed Nadia “Nerdia” and loved aggravating her. He loved spending time with his mom watching TV and finding good comedy. Justin’s laugh was so infectious when you heard it you couldn’t help but smile.

Justin will forever be remembered as the witty, intelligent and fun-loving son, brother, Tio and friend he has always been.

Justin is preceded in death by his grandmothers, Jewell O’Sullivan and Barbara Diane Dean; best friend Chad Dorris and his English Bulldog Hoss Diesel Hensley.

He is survived by his parents, Denise Lynn Jones and Jeffrey Dale Hensley; sisters, April Cruz, Darci Hensley, Bonnie Hensley, and Jessica (Dalton) Woodruff; nieces and nephews, Nadia Rodriguez, Marley Cruz, Noah Esposito, Milani Taylor, Rossi Taylor and Malakai Davis.

A Life Celebration will be held on Saturday, March 5, 2022 at 1pm in the chapel of Springfield Funeral Home. The family will receive friends on Saturday from 11am until the time of service at the funeral home. Online condolences and floral tributes can be made at www.SpringfieldFH.com.
