Jeanette Brown passed away on December 8, 2021.
She was born in Robertson County, TN on August 10, 1925.
She was predeceased by her parents, George Wallace Brown and Lucile Orand Brown of Springfield, TN. In addition, both of her sisters, June Brown Moore (Charles) and Christine Brown passed prior to her death.
She is survived by her niece, Marcia M. Olewine (John) of Fort Mill, SC, and her nephew, Alan G. Moore (Diana) of Nashville, TN.
In addition, her great-nieces Kimberly T. McQueen (Jason) of Birmingham, AL and Kelly T. Parlier (Chris) of Fort Mill, SC, and great-nephew, Spencer G. Moore of Nashville survive her. She is also survived by her great, great niece Rowan G. Parlier and great, great nephew Christopher Graham Parlier, both of Fort Mill, SC.
Following high school graduation, she earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Education from Middle Tennessee State College (now MTSU) and a Master’s Degree from Austin Peay State University. She enjoyed a 40- year teaching career split between West Tennessee and Middle Tennessee. Her last active role was at Hillsboro High School.
Visitation will be held at Austin Bell Funeral Home at 509 Walnut Street, Springfield, TN 37172 on Friday, December 10th, 2021 at 10 am prior to a graveside service at 11:30 am at Elmwood Cemetery in Springfield.
