James Lewis “Jimmy” Ayres, age 68 of Springfield, died on Sunday, September 5, 2021 at the Hillcrest Healthcare Center in Ashland City, Tennessee.
A Celebration of Life service will be conducted at 7:00 pm on Thursday, September 9, 2021 at the Austin & Bell Funeral Home in Springfield. Visitation with the family will be on Thursday from 6:00 pm until the hour of service at 7:00 pm.
Jimmy was born on June 1, 1953 in Russellville, Kentucky to the late James Wallace and Betty Margaret Holman Ayres. He worked for many years as an engineer for Electrolux in Springfield.
Jimmy is survived by his son, Michael Dwayne (Rebekah) Ayres of Springfield; daughters, Jennifer Ayres (David) Lamb of Pleasant View, Misty Ayres (Endersone) Miranda of Franklin, Tennessee; brother, Ricky (Rosanna) Ayres of Springfield; grandchildren, Lexi, Daphne, Victor, James Burr “J.B.”. and Chloe.
