Dorothy Mae Capps Tanner, age 77, of Springfield, passed away Monday, September 27, 2021 at her home.
Graveside services will be held Wednesday, September 29, 2021 at 2 pm in the Springfield Memorial Gardens with Brother Randy Riggs officiating. Burial will follow with family and friends serving as pallbearers. Visitation will be held at the Austin & Bell Funeral Home in Springfield on Wednesday from 10 am until 1:30 pm.
Mrs. Tanner was born December 19, 1943 in Klamath Falls, OR to the late Charlie F. and Mary Ellen O’Brien Capps. She worked at Johnson Electric and was of the Baptist faith.
In addition to her parents, Mrs. Tanner is preceded in death by her son, Tony Michael Capps.
Mrs. Tanner is survived by her husband, Terry Tanner; son and daughter-in-law, Terry Roger and Kami Capps; step-son, Terry Lynn Tanner; daughter and son-in-law, Brenda Sue and Curtis Morse; step-daughters and step-son-in-law, Mary Lorene and Jackie Wolfe, and Teresa Diane Barber; brother, Jimmy Capps; sisters, Betty Russell and Maggie Evans; and two grandchildren.
