Diane Marie Gilmore of Adams, TN, age 63, passed away on September 26, 2021 with her family by her side.
She was born to the late Theodore and Stella Bouyoucas, on November 27, 1957, in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.
Diane was a loving wife, mother, and friend to many. She is survived by her husband of 42 years, James Gilmore; daughters, Lisa Mayhew (Chad) and Jamie Dixon (Thomas); granddaughter, Adrianna Mayhew; granddog, Daisy.
Diane was immensely proud of her family and leaves behind nothing but beautiful memories. She began her faithful journey as a servant of God at a young age when she was inspired by Billy Graham and his sermons. She was a member of Springfield First United Methodist Church and Springfield First United Methodist Women. She worked in the legal profession for 25 years and the medical documentation profession for 15 years, including the education and instruction for students during her career. She was an accomplished author of many publications, including two legal textbooks, two medical transcription books, music newspaper in South Florida, and a few novels. More recently, she created and managed a book publishing company. She enjoyed spending time with family, music, traveling, gardening, reading, cooking, and sharing her pride and history of her Greek heritage with others.
Her family will host a celebration of life planned for a later date.
