Donnie Bowen, age 64, of Cedar Hill, passed away Sunday, December 12, 2021 at his home.
Funeral services will be conducted Wednesday, December 15, 2021 in the chapel of Austin & Bell Funeral Home in Springfield with Pastor Jeff Gregory officiating. Burial will follow in the Bellwood Cemetery in Adams with Tyler Bowen, Dalton Moss, Dylan Moss, Bailey Bowen, Matthew Bowen, Bryson Carroll, DeWayne Moss, and Jeff Barnhart serving as pallbearers.
Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Tuesday, December 14, 2021 from 4-8 pm.
Donnie was born June 14, 1957 in Cedar Hill, TN to the late William Jessie and Elizabeth Rose Bowen. Donnie was of the Baptist faith and loved his children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife of 41 years, Brenda Joyce Bowen.
Mr. Bowen is survived by son, Donnie (Nichole) Bowen; daughter, Elizabeth (DeWayne) Moss; son, William Bowen; daughter, Shannon Carroll; 10 grandchildren, Tyler Bowen, Aubrey Moss, Dalton Moss, Dylan Moss, Bailey Bowen, Jeanie Bowen, Matthew Bowen, Bryson Carroll, Brayden Carroll and Brody Carroll; 3 great-grandchildren, Weston Bowen, Brinkley Moss, and Zadee Bowen; 4 brothers; and 2 sisters.
Austin & Bell Funeral Home in Springfield is in charge of these arrangements.
