Dennis Marshall Hall

Dennis Marshall Hall age 68 of Springfield and formally of Nashville passed away at St. Thomas Midtown.

He was born on August 20, 1953 to the late Woodrow Marshall and Jenny Ethel Hall in Saratoga Springs, New York. Dennis started to work at Oscar Mayer in Goodlettsville when the doors opened and stayed until they closed in 1995 and went on to work for Tennessee Cook Chill until he retired. Dennis was a faithful member and devout Christian, he and his wife Peggy attended Riverwood Church of Christ before they built their dream house in Hickman Co. where they attended Pinewood Church of Christ, they finally settled near their grandson in Robertson Co. and have been at Main Street Church of Christ for the last six years.

Dennis was a family man first and foremost; he loved Peggy and always made sure she had everything she needed and it was his goal to make her happy every day. He enjoyed going fishing and hunting or playing cards with Peggy, Don, and Donna on the weekend. Dennis and Peggy made many family traditions over the years that have been passed onto the next generation, from spending vacations at Standing Stone State Park and planning Christmas Do’s by decorating and cooking for friends and family.
