David Earl Brummett, 69, of Springfield, Tennessee passed from this life on Saturday, August 27, 2022, at his home.
Mr. Brummett was born September 24, 1952, in Portland, TN.
He was a retired driver with Waste Management and was a member of Providence Baptist Church.
Mr. Brummett was preceded in death by his father: Iro Brummett, by his grandson: Joshua Lynch, by his brother-in-law: Charles Cook, by his nephew: Bruce Brassel, and by his half-sister: Iris Presley.
Mr. Brummett is survived by his wife of 51 years: Pat Cook Brummett of Springfield, by his children: Delita Brummett, John Brummett, Ann Knight, and Joshua Brummett all of Springfield, by his mother: Margaret Scruggs Brummett of Gallatin, by his brothers: Curtis, Randy, and Mark Brummett all of Gallatin, by his sisters: Linda Graves, Dianna Nevels, Patricia Hunter, and Sabrina Woods all of Gallatin, Peggy Troutt of Bethpage, and Brenda Buck of Jackson, and by his 14 grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild.
Funeral services will be conducted Friday, September 2nd at 1:00 p.m. at the Providence Baptist Church with Pastor David Price officiating. Interment will follow in the Harper Hills Cemetery in Springfield with Lee Johnson, Lynn Elwood, Phil Baer, Curtis Petty, Karl Hix, and Brian York serving as pallbearers. The family will receive friends on Thursday from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at the Robertson County Funeral Home and on Friday from 11:00 a.m. until service time at the Providence Baptist Church.
