Robert Dean “Bobby” Adkins, age 60 of Springfield, Tennessee died Wednesday, August 4, 2021, at his home.
Funeral services will be held at 11 am on Friday, August 6th in the Oakhurst Chapel of the Robertson County Funeral Home with Tim Harris officiating. Graveside services will be in the Unity Cemetery in Lawrenceburg, TN at 3 pm on Friday. The family will receive friends on Friday at the funeral home from 9 am until 11 am.
Bobby was born October 10, 1960, in Lorain, Ohio to his late parents, William and Sybil Rogers Adkins II. He was recently retired from construction. Bobby enjoyed working and his hobby was working, but when he decided to take some time off he enjoyed going camping at Land Between the Lakes, being with his friends at the Piggy Pit, and spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren.
His wife, Sandy Adkins, and brothers, Tommy and Buddy Adkins also preceded him in death.
He is survived by his son and daughter-in-law, Charles “Chuckie” and Jade Adkins of Clarksville, TN: grandchildren, Brayden Adkins and Elizabeth Adkins of Clarksville; girlfriend, Jennifer Denton of Springfield; brother, David Adkins of Springfield and sisters, Patty Ruck of White House, TN and Sarah Bess of White House, TN.
Robertson County Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
