Andrew Neilsen Carr, age 58, of Springfield, Tennessee passed away on Tuesday, January 17, 2023 at his home.
Mr. Carr was born April 10, 1964 in Nashville. He worked as a plumber at Jack Ward for many years, he loved the TN Vols and was an avid Nashville Predators fan.
Mr. Carr is preceded in death by his brother, George Carr.
He is survived by his father, Phillip Carr; mother, Neada George Carr; sons, Andrew Taylor Carr and Preston Browning Carr; daughters, Suzanne Elizabeth Carr and Cathryn Jean Carr; brothers and sisters-in-law, Anthony Carr, Chris and Joanne Carr, Stephen and Beth Carr, and Nathan and Michelle Carr; sisters and brother-in-law, Mary Castleman and Eve and Wayne Helm. Mr. Carr is also survived by a number of extended family members and dear friends that will miss him dearly.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, January 21, 2023 at 1 pm in the chapel of the Austin & Bell Funeral Home in Springfield with Robert H. Bell, Stephen Carr and Bartley Burnett officiating. Burial will follow in the Greenbrier Cemetery with Preston Carr, Taylor Carr, Nathan Carr, Anthony Carr, Chris Carr and Stephen Carr serving as pallbearers.
Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Friday, January 20, 2023 from 4-8 pm and again on Saturday from 12 noon until the hour of service at 1 pm.
