The City of Springfield is working with RaganSmith, a planning consultant firm, to host an open house regarding the preparation of a Comprehensive Plan for the City.
The Open House will be held on October 3rd from 5pm to 7pm at the City Hall boardroom 405 N. Main Street, Springfield, TN 37172.
The Comprehensive plan will serve as a vision for future growth strategies in the city and decision-making guidance for community leaders. The open house will start with a brief presentation and break up into three distinct input stations regarding specific topics of land use and development, transportation planning and economic strategies.
Direct input and ideas will be requested and documented during the open house. There will be additional community engagement opportunities during the planning process anticipated to conclude some time in June of 2024.
Residents are also encouraged to share their input and ideas through an online survey by November 15.
