Wanda Lee Bailey, age 85 of White House, passed away peacefully on November 20, 2024 at Alive Hospice in Nashville.
Mrs. Bailey was born on July 1, 1939 in Columbia, Tennessee to the late William and Edna Collier. In addition to her parents, she was reunited in Heaven with her husband of 61 years, Johnny Bailey and her brother, Mike Collier.
She is survived by her sons, Bill Bailey (Trinda) of Lebanon and Tim Bailey (Clarissa) of Cross Plains; grandchildren, Sean Bailey (Marina), Erin Bailey, Maguire Wicking (Chris), and Macauley Bailey; great-grandchild, Julian Wicking; and her faithful companion, Coco.
Mrs. Bailey was a 1959 graduate of the Tennessee School for the Deaf where she was an outstanding athlete. She was the first deaf person hired by the State of Tennessee and worked with the Department of Revenue for over 30 years. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother who always took care of her family. She was one of the sweetest and kindest people in the entire world and she will be deeply missed.
In accordance with her wishes, Mrs. Bailey will be cremated and there are no services planned at this time.
