Tropical Depression Ida Continues to Rain Down on Tennessee

It’s here! Tropical Depression Ida has moved up to Tennessee and the rain has finally arrived. The National Weather Service forecasted the rainfall to be 3-4″ for the heart Tennessee in Nashville, but Clarksville and some other cities are a little more fortunate as the rainfall is around an inch or less.

Additional rainfall is expected as well. The National Weather Service has forecasted two or more inches of rain after Ida for Middle Tennessee. FLASH FLOOD WATCHES are in effect for the entirety of Middle Tennessee and FLOOD WARNINGS are beginning to take effect in the city of Clarksville and Robertson county. The FLASH FLOOD WATCH continues until September 1st until 1:00 A.M. CDT.

A HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK is in effect for all of Middle Tennessee due to Ida moving across the state.
