A tornado reportedly touched down in Robertson County on Wednesday evening.
According to Robertson County Emergency Medical Services, the reported tornado was spotted in Coopertown area heading toward Springfield.
At 3:07pm, the National Weather Service reported the tornado-warned storm was moving into the area.
The Robertson County EMA is working to check any damaged locations for injuries. The agency is also working with schools and have assisted with moving bus 57 safely over to Cheatham Park School in Springfield for reunification with parents and safe transport on to student’s homes.
Springfield remains under a flash flood warning through 7:00 AM Thursday from US National Weather Service Nashville Tennessee
