The State of Tennessee’s 2023 Christmas tree was harvested from a Springfield residence on November 16, reports Real Springfield, TN.
The owner, Dixie Goff, planted the tiny tabletop Christmas tree back in 1991 and now the Norway Spruce stands more than 35 feet tall. It will be the centerpiece of attention at the Tennessee State Capitol Building for the holiday season.
The official tree lighting ceremony will take place on November 27, 2023, in Nashville, TN.
