The Springfield Parks and Recreation Department is excited to host its second annual Special Needs Fishing Rodeo, sponsored by Springfield Baptist Church.
Kids and adults of all ages are invited to fish from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. on Saturday, October 8, 2022 at J. Travis Price Park, 4155 Wilks Road. Admission is free. Participants must bring fishing gear and bait. No artificial lures will be allowed.
Registration will begin at 9:00 a.m. All participants are required to register. At the conclusion of the event, prizes will be awarded.
“We are always looking for ways to serve everyone in our community,” said Springfield Parks and Recreation Director Terry Martin. “Last year’s event was an absolute success and we can’t wait to see the smiles on their faces again!”
