The Legacy Golf Course topped Golf Digest’s list of the best courses to play in Tennessee.

The well-known golf magazine recently compiled a best-of-the-best list of public golf courses in Tennessee as part of their newly relaunched Places to Play franchise. The Golf Digest Places to Play experience leverages the expertise of 1,900-plus Golf Digest course panelists to provide knowledge and first-hand experience about courses around the country.

Since opening in 1996, the 6,755-yard course at The Legacy has provided a fun and challenging Tennessee golf experience for thousands of players. Its beautiful course is truly a hidden gem. As a certified Cooperative Sanctuary by Audubon International, the course is also committed to protecting the local environment, conserving natural resources, and providing wildlife habitats.

“The Legacy is a great place for golfers of all skill levels and is just a short drive from the hustle and bustle of Nashville,” said Legacy Golf Course Director of Operations Chet Frazier. “The layout of the course provides great variety testing every club in your bag, but the real challenge begins on the greens. The undulating bentgrass greens roll true and will put your putting skills to the test. It is an honor to receive this kind of recognition.”
