The Springfield Police Department kicked off their fall series of “Coffee with a Cop” last week.
This community initiative encourages residents to engage with local officers in a relaxed, informal atmosphere while enjoying a cup of coffee. These events provide a great chance for community members to connect with local officers, voice their concerns, and gain insight into the police department’s community initiatives.
Each event will begin at 8:30 a.m. The first event kicked off on September 5 at Chick-fil-A. The upcoming events will be at the following locations in Springfield:
October 3, 2024: Historic Perk, 704 South Main Street
November 7, 2024: Larry’s, 204 Central Ave East
December 5, 2024: McDonald’s, 2113 Memorial Boulevard
January 9, 2025: Dunkin Donuts, 2029 Memorial Boulevard
February 5, 2025: Deja Moo, 804 Memorial Boulevard
