Nashville Sounds: Win 6-3
The Nashville Sounds had to come from behind to earn their victory last night over the Indianapolis Indians. The Sounds trailed 3-1 until the seventh inning. That is when Nashville scored 5 runs to take a convincing 6-3 lead and they would not let it go. Christina Kelley helped get the victory with a double that brought home 3 baserunners in the seventh to go up 4-3. After that, the Sounds added 2 more runs for good measure and that was how the game ended.
Atlanta Braves: Loss 4-3
The Atlanta Braves lost another heartbreaker as they fell to the Phillies in extra innings yesterday. They held a 3-1 lead heading into the bottom of the eleventh inning. However, Juan Segura hit a deep single with runners on second and third. Both runners scored and the Braves lost their second straight to the Phillies.
Cincinnati Reds: Loss 7-2
The Cincinnati Reds squared off against the Milwaukee Brewers yesterday and fell 7-2. The game was halted in the middle due to a rain delay and it seemed the Reds could not overcome it. The top of the sixth inning saw the Brewers score 3 runs and take the lead. They would not let it go from there and they ended up winning 7-2. Castillo was on the mound and given his 9th loss of the season.
