Due to the forecast for extreme heat, Robertson County Schools will dismiss two hours early on Wednesday (Aug. 23), Thursday (Aug. 24), and Friday (Aug. 25) of this week.
For those with children currently enrolled in extended care programs, programs will open when schools dismiss until 6:00 pm.
Additionally, outdoor practices and events will be prohibited from 12:00 pm until 6:30 pm each of these days.
The National Weather Service issued a Heat Advisory through Friday. Heat index values are expected to climb to 105°+ in many areas each afternoon.
