Drivers traveling through Nashville International Airport this week may notice overnight lane closures as early construction work continues on a new rental car facility and parking garage.
Airport officials say from Wednesday, Jan. 21, through Friday, Jan. 23, crews will conduct overnight work that will require partial and single-lane closures along Terminal Drive and BNA Park Drive. The work is part of the early stages of construction for the expanded rental car complex and parking garage.
Officials emphasized that only one lane will be closed at a time to minimize traffic impacts. Motorists are encouraged to watch for work zones and follow posted signage while traveling through the area.
The new rental car facility and garage are part of the airport’s New Horizon growth and expansion program, which is aimed at improving capacity and traveler experience at BNA.
