Lisa Taylor Dixon, 59 of Greenbrier passed away suddenly on January 14, 2026 at Skyline Medical Center.
Lisa was born on September 16, 1966 in Nashville, TN to the Charles Taylor and Sandra (Wade) Taylor. She was a graduate of Greenbrier High School class of 1984. There, she created lasting memories and built friendships that she carried with her throughout her entire life. Lisa spent most of her career in the childcare industry. She loved children and was honored to be a part of so many children’s lives in and around the community. Lisa enjoyed spending time with her friends and family, getting into mischief and going to The Mint.
Lisa is survived by her mother, Sandra Taylor, two daughters, Heather (Jeremy) Herman and Harley English, and granddaughter Laci Anne Hood.
She was preceded in death by her father, whom she loved endlessly, Charles Taylor. By her maternal grandparents, James and Frances Wade, paternal grandparents, Myrtle and Clyde Malugen.
We will be celebrating Lisa’s life on Sunday, February 1, 2026 with visitation beginning at 2pm followed by a Memorial Service at 4pm in the Chapel of Austin & Bell Funeral Home in Greenbrier.
