An off-duty corrections Deputy for the Robertson County Detention Facility in Springfield was life-flighted to Vanderbilt Medical Center after a motorcycle accident, reports Smokey Barn News.
Smokey Barn News reports the accident occurred on Wednesday night around 7:10pm on Cross Plains Road near Bethlehem Road.
Cross Plains Fire Chief Tommy Jackson told Smokey Barn News that the off-duty deputy left the roadway and struck a tree. He was in critical condition at the time of transport, Jackson said. No other injuries were reported.
