OBITUARY: Wanda Faye Day Frasier


Wanda Faye Day Frasier went home to be with the Lord Saturday, October 15, 2022 at her home, she was 83 years old.

She was born October 11, 1939 in Ridgeway, IL to James Lawrence and Lena Mae Stennett Day.

She retired from ALCOA, where she worked as a lab technician. Wanda enjoyed sewing, gardening, traveling, sight seeing and farm life, including caring for farm animals. She was a member of Temple Baptist Church. She also enjoyed teaching Vacation Bible School.

She is preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Ellis Day, Carroll Day and Austin Day; sisters, Gladys Eifert, Geraldine Heath and Bernice Krueger; two great-grandchildren, James and Rebecca Retter.

She is survived by her loving husband of 64 years, Larry R. Frasier, Sr., White House, TN; sons, Larry R. “Rick” Frasier, Jr (Joyce), Ferrum, VA and Robby Alan (Lisa) Frasier, Goodlettsville, TN; daughters, Donna Renee (David) Griggs, White House, TN and Dana Jo (Paul) Hancock, Rogersville, AL sisters, Jo Anne (Larry) DeWeese, Evansville, IN, Joyce (James) Rose, Jasper, IN, Linda Reysz, Indianapolis, IN and Sharon (Thomas) Oakley, Newburgh, IN; 8 grandchildren; 7 great-grandchildren.

Funeral service is scheduled for Saturday, October 29, 2022 at 3 pm at Temple Baptist Church 117 Marlin Road White House, TN 37188 with Rev. Paul Hancock officiating. Visitation is planned for Saturday, October 29, 2022 1-3 pm at the church.
