Walter Steve Poole, age 66, of Springfield, Tennessee passed away on Thursday, September 8, 2022 at his home.
Mr. Poole was born February 12, 1956 in Springfield to the late Walter Edward and Molly Marie Gibbs Poole.
He served at the HOPE Center for many years and knew the Bible very well. He had a great heart and loved everyone.
In addition to his parents, Mr. Poole is preceded in death by his sisters, Sandra Watson and Pam Poole.
Mr. Poole is survived by his domestic partner, Helen Daniels; sons and daughter-in-law, Brad Poole, Chad and Jenny Poole, and Matt Poole; daughters, Rebecca Poole and Jessica Poole; brothers and sister-in-law, Eddie and Marion Poole, and Jamie Poole; sisters and brother-in-law, Barbara Jones, Karen Poole, and Cheryl and Troy Pinkerton; and eight grandchildren.
Graveside services will be held Wednesday, September 14, 2022 at 2 pm in the Springfield Memorial Gardens with Troy Pinkerton and Kent Boyd officiating. Burial will follow with Troy Pinkerton, Jamie Poole, Kent Boyd, Tony Owens, Tim Stagner and Milton Hergert serving as pallbearers. No visitation will be held prior to the graveside service.
