Vonceil ‘Ginger’ Marie Messer age 90, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, June 1, 2022 at the Waters of Robertson Nursing Care Center in Springfield, Tennessee.
Vonceil was born August 2, 1931, and raised in Kansas City, Missouri. She was a 1948 graduate of Northeast High School. She worked with the Federal Government, Department of Agriculture, and the Social Security Administration until she retired in 1996.
Ginger truly lived life to the fullest through simple pleasures like chatting with friends and family, offering a helpful hand wherever she could, and spending time with her family.
Ginger is preceded in death by her parents, Theodore and Ruth Boden Nolan, and her daughter, Shirley Messer.
She is survived by her son, Keith Messer of Nashville; daughter, Mary Messer O’Brien of Phoenix, Az; and grandchildren, Michael & Madilyn Messer, and Bailey & Jacob O’Brien.
There are so many friends, family, and others, whose lives she has touched. A private inurnment service will be held in Kansas City at Ginger’s request.
