Funeral services will be conducted Thursday, July 6, 2023, at 1:00 p.m. from the Chapel of Taylor Funeral Home. Visitation will be on Wednesday at Taylor Funeral home from 3:00 p.m. until 8:00 pm and Thursday from 10:00 a.m. until time of service.
Vincent Preston Lucas died June 29, 2023, at Vanderbilt Children’s Hospital in Nashville, TN.
Vincent was born in Nashville, Tennessee to Tierne and Jacob Lucas on April 7, 2022. Vincent had several extended stays in Vanderbilt Hospital but, he and his parents took it in stride. He always found a way to steal people’s hearts with his infectious smile and laugh.(don’t forget the side eyes) Vincent loved all things animal related and Disney too.
He is survived by his loving parents Tierne and Jacob Lucas of Cedar Hill, TN; grandparents; “Nini” Angie Overton, “Lolly” Gabrielle and “Pops” Lance Jimerson, great grandparents; “G.G.” Bonnie Berry, “Paw” Jerry Lucas, aunts; “Lovey” Thorah Jimerson, “Doodle” Destiny Overton, uncles; “Thong” Jonathon Lucas, and Hank Willingham.
He is also survived by his “Four-Legged Fur Siblings” Jasper, Zeus, Athena, Gypsy and Juniper.
