Vickie Lynn Burgett Lunsford, age 71, passed away Friday, June 13, 2025 at The Residence of Alive Hospice. She was born March 30, 1954 in Nashville, TN to Vernon and Lorraine Vestal Gurley. She worked in Accounts Receivable and Payable with the Woodbridge Company until her retirement.
She was an avid Titans fan for many years, but more recently she enjoyed attending all of the sporting events of her grandchildren more than anything else. She was their biggest fan. Vickie loved animals, traveling, feeding her hummingbirds and going on cruises. She is preceded in death by her parents.
She is survived by her loving husband of 39 years, Mike Lunsford, Cottonton, TN; son, Kyle (Krissy) Burgett, Ridgetop, TN; daughter, Michelle (Derek) Harris, Hendersonville, TN; 5 grandchildren, Kyah Burgett, Klayton Burgett, Kruz Burgett, Noah Harris and Jameson Harris.
Funeral service is scheduled for Tuesday, June 17, 2025 at 12 noon in the chapel of Austin & Bell Funeral Home in White House with Bro. Darrin Graves and Derek Harris officiating. Interment will follow in White House Memorial Gardens with Robert Wayne Bridger, Danny Ray Bridger, Odie Watson Bridger, Jackie Lunsford, Ricky Black, Bud White and Klayton Burgett serving as pallbearers.
Visitation is planned for Monday, June 16, 2025 4-8PM and Tuesday, June 17, 2025 11AM until the time of the service at the funeral home.
