Irving Lee Fentress Obit

Irving Lee Fentress, age 77, of Joelton, passed peacefully from this life on Friday, June 13, 2025 at his home.

Funeral services will be conducted at 2pm Tuesday in the Austin & Bell Funeral Home chapel in Springfield with Bro. Taylor Kibler and Bro. Bob Adcock officiating. Burial will follow in the Mt. Sharon Cumberland Presbyterian Cemetery with Brandon Niblock, Chris Niblock, Chris Miller, Jeff Hall, Andrew Miller, and Dave Fentress serving as pallbearers.

The family will receive friends from 11am until time of the service, at 2pm, at the funeral home.

Mr. Fentress was born September 8, 1947 in Greenbrier, to the late Albert C. Fentress and the late Mildred Dunn Fentress. He graduated from the University of Tennessee at Martin, was a member of the Alpha Tau Omega fraternity, graduated from the Nashville School of Law and ran his own CPA firm for over 40 years. He attended Mt. Sharon Cumberland Presbyterian Church.

In addition to his parents, Mr. Fentress was preceded in death by his wife Cindy Stojanowski Fentress; a sister, Ellen Teasley; and a brother, Albert Fentress.

He is survived by his daughter, Rebecca (Chris) Miller, daughter, Elizabeth (Jeff) Hall, son, Jacob (Brandy) Fentress, son, Chris (Faith) Niblock, son, Brandon Niblock, daughter, Amber Niblock, daughter, Jessica Fentress, a sister, Janice (Adi) Surti, and 15 grandchildren.
