Tiffany Kirby, a beloved mother, grandmother, and dedicated public servant passed away on September 18, 2024, in Nashville, Tennessee.
She was born in Springfield, Tennessee, and graduated from Greenbrier High School, Class of 1990. Tiffany’s career spanned over two decades as a Rural for the Post Office, where she was known for her work and commitment to her community.
Tiffany a loving person who took immense pride in her role as a mother to her two children and later as a Nah Nah to her grandchildren. Her love for her family was evident in everything she did. She cherished the moments spent camping with them, creating lasting memories, and encouraging family bonding. Tiffany had a passion for life that extended beyond her family; she enjoyed swimming and bowling, activities that brought joy and excitement to her life.
Her warm and compassionate nature drew people to her, and she was always inclined to help others, embodying the essence of kindness. Tiffany lived her life to the fullest and instilled that same zest for living in her children, ensuring that her spirit would continue to inspire them.
She is preceded in death by her father, Thomas Lassiter; Regina Michelle Bahul and Christy Leighanne Blakemore.
Tiffany is survived by her husband of 35 years, Thomas Kirby; children Thomas Corey (Amber Brooke) Kirby and Megan Danielle Kirby; Mother, Betty Lassiter; grandchildren, Thomas Leigh Smoltz Kirby and Sophia Marie Kirby and sister, Melissa Faye (Randy) Young.
Tiffany Kirby’s legacy is one of love, dedication, and strength, and she will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her.
A Life Celebration will be held on Sunday, September 29th at 3 pm in the Chapel of Springfield Funeral Home with Amber Kirby officiating. The family will receive friends on Sunday, from 1-3 pm. https://www.springfieldfh.com
