Mr. Thomas Henry Lassiter, age 79, of Greenbrier, passed away on July 16, 2023 surrounded by his loving family.
He was born on June 4, 1944 in Robertson County to the late Ray Dean and Lorene Lassiter.
Along with his parents, he is preceded in death by two daughters, Regina Bahul and Christy Blakemore; and five siblings.
Thomas was an avid NASCAR fan and could be found every Saturday and Sunday watching the races. He spent 14 years working for Dupont and 16 years working for Peterbilt. Every morning, you could find him at K&S Market with his friends having a cup of coffee.
Thomas is survived by his loving wife of 58 years, Mrs. Betty Harlow Lassiter; daughters, Lisa (Randy) Young and Tiffany (Thomas) Kirby; ten grandchildren; and ten great-grandchildren.
A celebration of life will be held at 4 pm, Saturday, July 22nd in the chapel of Springfield Funeral Home. Family will receive friends from 2-4 pm prior to the service. https://www.springfieldfh.com
