Teresa Sue Cunningham, age 61, of Adams, TN passed away Tuesday, March 8, 2022 at her home surrounded by her family.
Mrs. Cunningham was born September 25, 1960 in Springfield, TN to the late Robert and Fay Carroll Birdwell.
She was a member of Oakwood Baptist Church.
In addition to her parents, Mrs. Cunningham was preceded in death by a brother-in-law, David Hunter McCroy Jr.; and a nephew, Matthew Ian McCroy.
Teresa is survived by her husband of 40 years, Bruce Cunningham; brother, Robert Timothy Birdwell; sister, Shari Denise McCroy; nieces, Page McCroy, Laura McCroy, and Kayla Birdwell; nephew, Joshua Birdwell; great-nieces, Autumn Upchurch and Ella Dawson; and a great-nephew, Ayden Birdwell.
Funeral services will be conducted at 11 am Thursday, March 10, 2022 in the chapel of Austin & Bell Funeral Home in Springfield with Rev. William Gray officiating. Burial will follow in the Bellwood Cemetery in Adams with Randy Brooksher, Bruce Brooksher, Josh Birdwell, Evan Carr, Alton Binkley, and Ron Masters serving as pallbearers.
The family will receive friends from 4-8 pm Wednesday, March 9, 2022 and again from 9 am until time of service on Thursday at the funeral home.
