Shawn Fisher, 52, of Springfield, passed away on Sunday, March 17, 2024, in the same home that he lived in his entire life.
Shawn was born April 27, 1971, in Springfield, to the late Jack Marshall and Iva Jean Stults Fisher.
He was a graduate of Springfield High School Class of 1990 and was of the Baptist faith. Shawn was a truck driver and the owner of Fisher Livestock. The three things in life that Shawn loved and enjoyed most were, being on the road driving his truck, driving his Harley motorcycle, and eating good food.
Shawn is survived by his special friend: Dawn Kirkland of Springfield, by his sisters: Marlene (Jimmy) Bunch of Springfield, Darlene (Glenn) Gainous of Springfield, Marilyn (Bill) Johnson of Charleston, SC, and Donna Downard of Springfield, by his niece: Teresa (Leslie) Richardson, by his nephew: Don (Allison) Downard, and by four great nieces and nephews.
A Celebration of Life service will be conducted on Saturday, March 23rd at 2:00 p.m. in the Oakhurst Chapel of the Robertson County Funeral Home. Honorary pallbearers will be Anthony Garnett, Jacob Fuqua, Scotty Creek, Chuck “Squirrel” Lawrence, Will Shanklin, David Berry, T.C. Groves, Kash Groves, Justin Dorris, Joey Dorris, and Josh Henning.
