Ms. Ruth H. Meservey, age 84, of Springfield, TN passed away surrounded by her loving family on November 17, 2022.
She was born on August 6, 1938 in Louisville, KY to the late Hovie and Lorene Norman.
Along with her parents, she is also preceded in death by her husband, Ray Meservey; three grandchildren JP, Jason, and Christopher; and one brother, George Norman.
Ruth was a devoted Christian and a member of Faith is the Victory Church for over 40 years. She enjoyed cross stitching quilts for her family. She loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren who called her “Nannie” and “Memaw.” She was a loving mother, grandmother, and sister who will be truly missed.
Ruth is survived by her children, Connie Traughber, Kathy (Gene) Cannon; and Vicky Wells; grandchildren, Brian, Tina, Lucas, and Tiffany; great-grandchildren, Will, Caroline, Jaden, and Katelynn; sister, Carol Graves; and sister in law, Margaret Norman.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, December 3rd at Faith is the Victory Church at 11 am. Family will receive friends on Friday, December 2nd at Springfield Funeral Home from 3-7 pm. https://www.springfieldfh.com
