Rusti Sue Wiersma, age 52, of Cedar Hill, passed away Wednesday, February 21, 2024 at her home.
Ms. Wiersma was born November 11, 1971 in Grand Rapids, MI to Robert Simon Wiersma, Jr. and Lois Jeanne Merritt Wiersma. She retired from the U.S. Postal Service after many years of service.
Ms. Wiersma was preceded in death by her father, Robert Simon Wiersma Jr.
She is survived by her mother, Lois Jeanne Wiersma; brothers, Ryan Shawn (Michelle) Wiersma, and Doug (Shannon) Lagendyk; sisters, Valerie Kim, and Rhonda (Elvis) Bellar; stepmother, Karen Uhen; goddaughter, Annalese “Lei-Lei” Beeks; and several nieces and nephews that she loved as if they were her own children.
Ms. Wiersma’s wishes were to be cremated and there are no services scheduled at this time.
