Roy Matthew Porter, age 81, of Adams, Tennessee passed away Thursday, January 12, 2023 at NHC Springfield.
Mr. Porter was born August 30, 1941 in Robertson County to the late Daniel Edward and Vola Ann Birdwell Porter.
He was a Shipping Clerk at UNARCO Industries and a member of Adams United Methodist Church.
Roy is survived by his wife of 57 years, Lorraine Porter; daughters, Stephanie (Greg) Spain and Teresa Risher; and 2 grandchildren, Mallory and Emery Spain.
A private family only graveside service will be conducted on Monday, January 16, 2023 in the Hill Cemetery with Bro. Bruce Cunningham and Bro. Ed Baumgarten officiating. Pallbearers will be Greg Spain, Emery Spain, Ron Garrison, Dustin Garrison, Brian Rippy and Frank Spain.
The family received friends from 3-6 pm Sunday, January 15, 2023 at the Austin & Bell Funeral in Springfield.
