Rose Marie Garrett, age 70, of Greenbrier, passed away Thursday, Aug. 1, 2024 at Alive Hospice, Nashville.
Ms. Garrett was born November 9, 1953 in Greenbrier, Tennessee to the late James and Lucy Suter Garrett.
In her spare time, she loved quilting, jigsaw puzzles, crossword puzzles and Cooking. Ms. Garrett was a school teacher and a member of Ebenezer Baptist Church.
Ms. Garrett is survived by her brother, James (Duke) Garrett, Jr. of Greenbrier; and sister Frances (Buddy) Travis of Greenbrier.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday, Aug. 6, 2024 at 12 pm in the chapel of Austin and Bell Funeral in Greenbrier with Brother Jon Briggs officiating. Burial will follow in Springfield Memorial Gardens, with friends and family serving as pallbearers.
The family will receive friends on Monday from 4:00 pm- 7:00 pm at the funeral home.
