Robert Gene Griffith, age 84 of White House, TN passed away on Thursday, August 18, 2022 in Nashville, TN. He was born on November 5, 1938 in New Haven, IL.
Bob is survived by 3 children, Chris (Christine), Fred (Tina), Carol (James)
13 grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, 2 sisters,7 brothers and wife, Joan Eda.
Outside the family these are things he was proud of:
Playing high school football, all state right guard at 5’6″ & 130 lbs.
Marrying the love of his life, Joan Eda
Serving in the U.S. Army, 1962-64
His 30 year career at Southern California Edison and retirement in 1992
50 years of being an usher for his church family
When people called him Mayor Bob
His dachshunds Daisy and Chewy
His Cat Care Route and feeding stray and wild animals.
A memorial service is scheduled for Thursday, August 25, 2022 at 6 pm at New Life Chapel. A graveside committal service with military honors will be held Friday, August 26, 2022 at 11 am in White House Memorial Gardens.
