Robert Douglas Eden, age 73 of Greenbrier, Tennessee passed away on Wednesday, February 15, 2023, at his home.
He was born on February 3, 1950, to the late Henry Wilson and Bessie (Gammons) Eden in Hartsville, TN.
Mr. Eden was a graduate of East High School. Mr. Eden joined the United States Army where he became an Army Ranger. After being discharged, he came home and became a true entrepreneur, running his own florist business for many years. He loved designing flowers and making unique stained-glass masterpieces.
Robert enjoyed everything that had to do with warm weather and sunshine. Boating on the Lake with family, brunch, and walking the beach at Laguna Beach in Orange County, California or just enjoying an afternoon at the pool with the grandchildren. Robert enjoyed fishing at Percy Priest Lake or drag racing at Union Hill Raceway.
Laughter and Memories of Robert will forever live in the hearts of all that loved him.
Robert is survived by his wife 31 years, Kimberly Ann Eden; children, Shawn Michael (Kim) Eden Angie Goddard, and Bobby Eden; grandchildren, Shawn Eden, Jr., Alana Delligatti, Mackenzy Eden, and Payton Goddard; siblings, David Eden, Tony (David Brown) Eden, and Donald Eden; and a host of nieces and nephews.
A life celebration will be held on Monday, February 20, 2023, at 2:00 pm in the Chapel of Springfield Funeral Home. Entombment will follow in the Chapel of Memories in Springfield Memorial Gardens, with Shawn Eden, David Eden, Kyle Owens, Heath Eden, Tony Eden, and Jessie Owens serving as pallbearers.
